Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in a great game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the dealer, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers play with other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t need to worry about any other, more advanced people winning their money.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, novices will be able to take their time and plan while not having to make quick selections.
It is also much simpler to participate in for a very long time with basically a little amount of cash since, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the casino gets seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
