Web poker has become world famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier saying "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different gamblers are given five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you must either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including a figure in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The casino pays out chips equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
