Have you observed the new PokerPro hold em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks ago when I took a quick vacation with my parents to the WinStar Gambling establishment in Oklahoma.

As I waited for my turn to be acknowledged at the live tables, I watched how the other men and women around the PokerPro tables relate with one another. It was very interesting to say the least. Since the poker table was controlled by a computer, there had been no poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live encounter was boring. Perhaps I was the only one that noticed this, except I did observe the gamblers in the table had a dull high quality to them. The reason for this may be because there was no human conversation with the croupier, the atmosphere was relatively boring and the players looked bored. It was nearly as if I was looking at a live variation of an internet texas holdem poker room instead of being seated with hot blooded humans. It was a little bit creepy and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of The Next Generation and the holodeck broke down.

Since the waiting time for the reside tables for more than an hour, I decided to observe how the game play was and to understanding this new texas hold’em poker gaming technology. After playing a few hands, I genuinely felt like I was playing at home. The lack of activity at the table was the main reason. I like to shuffle and stack my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those things are feasible at these computer tables.

An additional thing I observed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a lot of hands at the PokerPro table and noticed that the bet on was a lot like an internet based texas hold em poker website. That could have been just a coincidence, except I discovered it to be incredibly odd.

Soon after wagering a couple of rounds with this "new texas hold’em poker technology", I made a decision that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m better off playing holdem poker on the net at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Casino have been to receive rid of the are living poker tables, I think they would shed a whole lot of gamblers.
